1. Who we are

BoatFinancingCalculator.com (the "Site") is a US-based, independent educational resource for boat buyers. We are not a lender, broker, or dealer. 2. What the calculator does with your inputs

The boat loan calculator runs entirely in your web browser. The values you enter (purchase price, down payment, interest rate, loan term, payment frequency) are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored, logged, or shared. They exist only while the calculator is open in your browser.

3. Information we do collect

Like most websites, we collect limited technical and usage information when you visit the Site:

• Log data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, referrer URL, and timestamps, gathered by our hosting provider.
• Analytics: page views, clicks, time on page, approximate location (country and state), and device characteristics, collected through Google Tag Manager and the analytics tools we load through it (such as Google Analytics).
• Email correspondence: if you email us, we keep your message and reply in order to respond and to maintain a history of the conversation.

We do not ask for, and do not collect, your Social Security Number, credit history, bank details, or any other sensitive personal financial information.

Analytics data is retained for the default period set in our analytics tools (typically up to 14 months). Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to administer the relationship and meet legal obligations.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we collect. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-party links
